Spoils to be shared on $679m Cranbourne Line

The Level Crossing Removal project has awarded the $679m Cranbourne Line Duplication package to two alliances.

The first alliance (McConnell Dowell, Arup, Mott MacDonald and Metro Trains) will deliver the duplication between Dandenong and Lynbrook including the removal of the Greens Rd Level Crossing.

The second group (Laing O’Rourke, Jacobs and Metro) will complete the link between Lynbrook and Cranbourne including the new Merinda Park station.

The project will launch into full swing shortly with early works already underway and should be completed by 2023.
